Ball[r]oom(n)

The palazzo features
a balloon room
with a thirty-foot high
frescoed ceiling.

The interplay of mass and void

due to a lack of balloons
or because of a layout malfunction
caused by the fanlike array
of slender hammer barges
steam powering across a white canal

is like Marconi
sparkgapping wireless signals into the sea.
