Stuck in a White Spotlight Gallery, Deserted, the Raging Plague outside a Wasteland

Dream arose out of void
Vantablack
Sounds arise out of vibrating silence,
from where it shivers and slowly picks up

The orange dusked air carries
the lights of a cliffside in flame
and smokes, the bridge burning

The peering eyes of embers
gape over the chasm
Black glass rippling
under the Newtonian weight

Nightmare of fireflies extinguished
In sifting layers of white ash
Piled high on the red girders

And cables,
yawning into silence
